Keep It Short Productions

I am asking for your support on behalf of KEEP IT SHORT PRODUCTIONS, about the film THE HIDDEN TOLL, written by Steven G. Turner, Alisa Banks and Hilliard Guess.

We are a group of filmmakers, writers, directors and actors that are committed to making high quality films that promote awareness around issues critical to our communities. Our group consists of people who work in high positions at WARNER BROS. MGM, COMEDY CENTRAL, etc. all with the desire to share their gifts to get this film made.

We believe the film we are making is more than a movie it is a movement! THE HIDDEN TOLL is a film about the astronomical suicide rate among African-American men.

Suicide is the number 3 killer of Black Men in America. In fact, Black Men are 5 times more likely to commit suicide than Black Women. This is a serious issue for our community and we want to put an end to these frightening statistic. This is a topic that is not discussed in our community, because quite frankly people are in denial about the fact that Blacks kill themselves, but we do, and it is preventable.
