Kyndra Thomas' Medical Fund

Kyndra Thomas is one of the most genuine, hardworking ladies who I am honored to have as a friend. She takes care of all of us as a Nurse Practitioner, mother, friend, wife, boss, and more without any expectations or requests for help in return. That is just who she is- truly amazing!

After talking to Kyndra, she gave me permission to share her update with you all. Again, not because she expects anything in return, but because she knows she has an awesome village standing behind her and a community who continues to support her.

Kyndra was diagnosed with a Neuroendocrine tumor (cancer) in May of 2019. Since then, she has had many visits to Tampa, Florida where she has been receiving care and the latest treatments. While the last few years have not been easy, overall, she has held her head high and mind positive, growing her new business, spending time with friends and family, and seeing her dreams through. She has not let cancer define her by any means.

The end of last year, Kyndra had routine PET scans updated and we learned the cancer has progressed. The cancer has now spread to multiple new places including her ovaries, spine, ribs, and more. She has since then started a new drug and overall feels well at this time with some expected side effects of the medication.

She has not once given up the fight and has decided to seek other opinions for treatment as recommended by all who love her.

The next few months are going to be busy; she has an appointment in March with MD Andersen in Houston, TX who is up to speed on all the latest research, treatments, and trial therapies. There will be time away from her business, lots of travel, including hotels and flights, childcare, dog boarding and not to mention the medical expenses themselves.

Please consider giving what you can, even if that is a simple prayer or keeping her and her family in your thoughts over the next few months.
