Help Keep a Family Together During a Medical Crisis

Hi, my name is Stephanie. I’m raising funds on behalf of my parents, who have been by my sister’s side day and night as she battles through an incredibly difficult medical crisis.

My sister has been in and out of hospitals for weeks, traveling between Mountain Home and Fayetteville, and now may need to be transferred even farther — to Oklahoma or St. Louis — in search of the care she needs.

She’s endured complications from cancer treatment, radiation damage, multiple surgeries, and now a dangerous drop in hemoglobin that landed her in the ICU. Her body is exhausted. Her spirit is tired. But through it all, my parents have never left her side.

They’ve been sleeping in the hospital room with her — on chairs and uncomfortable furniture — just to stay close. But with ICU restrictions and the possibility of a transfer to a farther hospital, they’ll now need to stay in a nearby hotel. They would never ask for help — but I am.
