Keeping up with finances after Mom's passing

I've done my best to not try to go this route. As many of you know, my Mother passed this month. Aside from the emotional hardship of losing both parents at my age, I'm also left with some financial issues I am trying to work out. Namely, back taxes on my father's estate. I started out thinking that since the house is paid off, I would easily take on the finances. Shortly after Mom's passing, I came to realize she was in major financial trouble with the house. Back taxes reaching over $15,000. She also left behind a car that still owes over $13,000. As for the car, I can allow repossession. As for the house, this may be a hole I can't dig out of. My mother never allowed me to get insight into her finances, which made this a huge surprise when going through the mail and figuring things out. The passing of my mother and now these new burdens have left me extremely uneasy. I don't normally do this, but if anyone can help I'd more than appreciate it. This month has already been my worst nightmare and I'm just not sure I can take all of this financial burden on my own. Thank you, and love all of you so much
