On the evening of January 5, Tracy Cone Sneddon (my mom) unfortunately fell and broke her leg. She was taking out the garbage and slipped on the ice. Anyone who lives in Michigan understands that despite the precautions we take (such as wearing boots and salting sidewalks), accidents can and do occur when we least expect them.

While she recovers from Intramedullary Nailing (tibial rod surgery), we are hoping to help her focus on healing before returning to work. As a full-time hairdresser, my mom spends her day on her feet, which will be incredibly challenging when she can only bear weight on her right side.

This broken leg has not only resulted in surgery, but ambulance transportation and a 4 night hospital stay. If you able to donate a bit to help lessen the impact of this accident, please consider it! My mom is one of the most caring individuals I’ve met, and she would be vehemently against the creation of this Go Fund Me, insisting that she’d be able to “figure it out” on her own.
