Why We’re Asking for Support

Yesterday, our coach and friend Pat suffered a sudden heart attack at the gym — a place he built and has dedicated years of his life to, and a space that has helped countless people grow stronger, healthier, and more confident.

Pat is 65 years old and has spent his life showing up for others. As a small business owner, he has poured everything he has into keeping this gym alive — often working long days with little rest, driven by commitment, pride, and responsibility to his members and community.

This fundraiser is being organized by friends and gym members, so that during this critical recovery period, his focus can be where it needs to be: on healing.

Recovering from a heart attack is challenging enough without the added stress of immediate living and business expenses. The reality of returning too quickly to long, exhausting workdays could seriously impact his recovery and long-term health.

Funds raised will help cover short-term expenses while he recovers, providing breathing room and stability during this vulnerable time and helping preserve the gym he has worked so hard to build.

This is not about charity — it’s about community supporting one of its own.
