Dear friends and family,

I’m reaching out during an incredibly difficult time. My ex has recently served me with custody paperwork, claiming that our 9-year-old parenting plan is no longer suitable and that Silas's current living situation is harmful to his physical, mental, and emotional well-being. This is absolutely not true. My children come first, 100% of the time, and I am heartbroken but determined to protect him from these sudden and false allegations.

In our original parenting plan, my ex was only allotted 8 hours of visitation a week, and for very good reason. I only have 15 days before my first court appearance, and I expect a long legal battle ahead to not only prove my innocence but also reveal why it is in his best interest for me to continue to have full custody. Unfortunately, I can’t share many details until everything is officially filed, but please know that I’m fighting with everything I have to ensure Silas remains in a safe, loving home.

I hate to ask for money, but the reality is that this all came up so quickly, and I need to retain a qualified attorney to fight for Silas’s best interests.
