Keeping Scott Alive

What's all this then?
A little over ten years ago I was diagnosed with an Atypical presentation of Trigeminal Neuralgia. That's a lot of syllables, so you know it's not good. 

Essentially, I have chronic migraines and nerve damage / issues. Not just your regular migraine, mind you. No. I want you to imagine the worst headache you've ever had in your life, multiply that times 100, light it on fire, break a bottle over its head, throw some acid on it ... and multiply that times three. 

I have these migraines all day, every day. 

 Not just migraines. Because of the issues, I now have High Blood Pressure, Depression, Anxiety, and various other medical problems. 

Ok, so why the Go Fund Me then?

Good question, random internet person. Because of the pain, migraine, and nerve issues, I am on what doctors like to call "A shit-load of medication" (if you are unsure as to the exact measurements of a shit-load, please see the included picture.) 

As I'm sure you all know, medication is expensive. After my wife and I were kicked off of our insurance, it has gotten even worse...

It can't be that bad, can it?

Using GoodRx, pharmacy coupons, and the rest, I am still paying close to $500 a month out of pocket. If I didn't pharmacy hop, it would be closer to $1000.

Ok, that is kinda bad...

I know, right?

So, what can we do?

I hate asking for help, but I can only go so long before I have to swallow my pride. So, I need you. All of you wonderful people.

Any donation you make will help me cover my monthly prescription expenses until my wife and I can get insurance coverage again.  

Any Final Thoughts?

The world is a terrible, frightening place, but there are always good people. I'm hoping, counting on the good people to help me out until I can either find coverage, or not suffer anymore.
