Keeping Paitong

Hello I'm Nancy Somvong's kid. Its with a heavy heart that I'm having to make this but I can't bear to see my mom struggle this much. Paitong has been around since 2008, located on 80th and Glisan, this has been my mom's dreams. She has been running this place since I can remember, always working hard so I could have the best in life. In June 2021 our lives were changes and my mom fell ill and is now having to go through chemo therapy. Not only has this changed our lives but its hit the business hard, we can only open 3 days a week and its been a struggle to stay a float and bills keep getting stacked up higher and higher, my mom is the strongest willed person I know and would never tell me anything is wrong but I've been running the restaurant and its been steadily declining. It has been the hardest thing to admit but we are struggling and I feel we will have to close our doors soon if we keep down the path we are going down. This is for the most hard working person I've seen in my life, the person that everyone knows as a kind and gentle soul, someone who truly fought for this. I want to help my mom's dreams and keep this restaurant for her. The money will be used to pay rent, electricity, water, gas and many other appliances. My family is very private so I want this to be surprise for them, but I don't want sound unauthentic so if you would like proof of bills please message me and I am happy to provide receipts and bills. This has been the hardest thing to ask for but I want to see my mom return to the restaurant where she belongs.
