My name is Octavia Murphy. I am asking for help with medical expenses for my Mom Mattie Mayes. Our mom is our light, our lives our everything. A very long time ago we made a promise to “always” care for her and “never” put her in a nursing home. Unfortunately, on April 12, 2022 mom had a brain hemorrhage and has been in Cedars-Sinai ever since. Mom is 95 years old and is still here. We are repeatedly being advised to send her to a nursing facility by medical staff. Keeping our promise that’s not an option. The cost for her care at home is extremely expensive. We’d just like for what ever time we have remaining with her to be at her home. We are aware that it’s all in God’s hands now. We just want to do all that we can possibly do.
