Family and friends, it is with great sadness that our family announces the passing of a very special person, our father, Rodolfo “Rudy” Rodríguez. He passed peacefully on Tuesday, May 30th alongside his close family members.
He was a man of integrity, a pillar of strength, who laughed often and loved hard. He will be deeply missed by all.
Those who knew our father knew how important it was to him to give back to the community, most importantly those that were underserved. He had a passion to finding medical solutions for children needing the most complicated/impossible surgeries and was very successful in obtaining those medical services.
In memory and honor of his humanitarian efforts and altruistic work, we will continue to work hard in rebuilding his nonprofit organization, Open Hearts Open Doors Inc. We have started a Go Fund Me to pick up where dad left off. Any and all donations will go to Open Hearts Open Doors Inc. We thank you for your continued support on this amazing cause.
