For the past ten years, I’ve worked as a driver in Westport, Connecticut, building my small business, 'Bunch of Faces in Different Places,' from the ground up. My clients have become like family to me, and I take pride in being there for them every day. It’s just me running the business, and for the past nine years, I’ve been waking up at 3:30 AM, seven days a week, to make sure everyone gets where they need to go.

But it hasn’t been easy. Over the years, I’ve gone through three cars and two XL SUVs. One of my vehicles was repossessed during Covid when I couldn’t make the payments, and another had a failed transmission. Now, my current XL vehicle is also having transmission issues, which limits how much I can work each day and has cut my income. My business keeps me going month-to-month, but I live check to check, and the recent car troubles have made things even harder.
