Hello and thank you for checking out my fundraiser! Im Lucia and my car needs some repairs; a new alternator, some body work on the front bumper, a new signal and headlight, and a rebuild of my CV axles and boots.

Of paramount importance is replacing the alternator. The other stuff is important too but without this the car can't start. If I only raise enough to fix one thing it is this.

The body work is the result of an accident that hit and ran during a time the only insurance I could afford was but a basic liability policy- in other words none of it was covered.

This emergency comes at a hard time in my life. Everything is expensive and I live and work on a very fixed income and these repairs are outside of what I can afford.

I'm asking for about 1000 dollars (estimate pending) to pay my mechanic to tackle the known issues and keep my main transportation operative.

Anything you can spare toward my cause will certainly help keep my life stable and my work commute managable. You have my sincerest gratitude.
