Keeping Loved Ones Close: Fighting Cancer & Hardships

Hello, my name is Shay, and I'm reaching out to ask for your support for my mother, Kizzy, and grandmother. For over a decade, my mom has been a dedicated caregiver to my grandmother, but the past 2 last years have brought immense financial strain.

In 2022, my grandmother was diagnosed with Lung Cancer. Grandma received 15 rounds of radiation to help reduce a tumor on her neck that has since then traveled to her brain. Despite her best efforts, my mom has lost four different jobs while juggling caregiving responsibilities and managing the financial burdens associated with my grandmother's care.

Recently, the financial demands have intensified, and my mom is struggling to keep up. We are now faced with the difficult decision of potentially having to place my grandmother in a nursing home, something we desperately want to avoid.
