Keeping Koya Kollection Alive
Donation protected
Hello everyone,
My name is Koya (Owner of Koya Kollection), and I am reaching out for your support to help me restart and regain control over my jewelry business. For the past three years, I have proudly sustained myself in Los Angeles through my passion for creating beautiful, affordable jewelry. Unfortunately, unforeseen circumstances have left me in a difficult financial situation, and I need your help to keep my dream alive.
Recently, I was scammed out of $800 by a customer who filed a chargeback after receiving her jewelry. This unexpected loss was a significant blow to my business. On top of that, I struggled to find an accountant or tax help and had to file my taxes myself, which resulted in me owing $15,000 to the IRS. I am still in the process of paying this off, but it's been incredibly challenging while also covering $3,000 a month in rent and other expenses.
Despite these setbacks, I have been determined to keep my business afloat, ensuring my jewelry remains affordable for my loyal customers. However, the financial strain has made it increasingly difficult to continue.
If I can reach my fundraising goal, I will be able to restart and rebrand my business, allowing me to come back better than ever. This is my dream, and there is nothing I want more than to continue making jewelry because this is what I truly love.
Please help me reach my goal and give me the chance to keep my passion alive. Any contribution, big or small, would mean the world to me and help me get back on my feet.
Thank you for your support.
