Keeping Karyn and Billi Together ☀️

Due to an unexpected cancer diagnosis, Karyn Love delivered a beautiful baby girl, Billi, at 29 weeks, on the 7th May, 2021.
This was not the start to life we expected for Billi and not the journey that our dear Karyn deserves.
Billi is a miracle baby.
In mid-2020, Karyn received the devastating news that it was unlikely that she would be the mother she desired to be. Thankfully, the universe had other plans.
Three days after Karyn's miracle child was conceived, her partner walked out of the relationship and rejected all responsibility or future support.
Karyn made the conscious decision to raise this child as a single mother.
It was magical seeing Karyn bloom as she prepared for a holistic home birth for the arrival of her precious little one.
Over the following months, Karyn had severe pains unknowingly masked as normal pregnancy symptoms until the 7th May. Karyn intuitively knew something was happening in her body that was not simply pregnancy.
Karyn was taken to the hospital, where baby Billi was delivered via emergency C-Section (at only 29 weeks), in order to save both their lives.
Although baby Billi’s arrival was joyful and miraculous, things turned quickly to Karyn’s rapid deterioration.
Within hours, doctors delivered news that Karyn had cancer which had now spread through her body, bones, liver, and breast. “Without treatment, her life would be measured in months...”
HOWEVER, with the right treatment and care, we can stop cancer from spreading and give Karyn as long (and thriving) life as possible with Billi and our family.
As part of Karyn’s holistic plan, her treatment and home care require funding.
This funding will cover home care equipment, holistic therapy for 3 months, Karyn’s rent and in-home care costs, special dietary needs as well as transport to & from the hospital to visit Billi.
This is the first meeting of Billi and Mummy meeting for the first time.

These first milestones over the next 90 days cost a total of $42,280
After the first few months, it is our intention that Billi will head home.
All our thoughts and prayers are fuelling this mission.
When this happens, costs will multiply and will include inpatient care (a full-time carer), food, transport, baby needs, ongoing rent, and utilities, as well as bed and medical equipment hire.
Karyn exudes love, joy, and hope and has deep maternal energy, which she has always channeled towards her friends, family, and the work she does in the community. It’s time to pour some of that love and support back to Karyn and baby Billi now in this time of unexpected need.
Karyn and Billi both have strong spirits to live and both believe they will have a full recovery of health and will share many milestones together. We all have the power to help make this a reality.
