My name is Sadia Tennah résident in Belgium, and today I am reaching out to you with a heartfelt plea to help my nephew, Houssem Al-Ajla, who is only 8 years old, along with his brothers and their mother, Hiba Nassar. Their situation is critical, and they need our compassion and support now more than ever.

For months, Houssem, his brothers, and their mother have been living in unimaginable conditions in Gaza. Their daily life is a struggle for survival—sheltering in a tent, with no solid roof, not enough food, no proper clothing, and no comfort. The children have no toys, and they often cry for just a piece of bread. Their biggest wish is simply to have a real shower and a room of their own, like any other child.

Their suffering is heartbreaking. Every day, they face cold, hunger, insecurity, and uncertainty. With winter approaching, it is unbearable to think of them enduring the harsh season without a safe home, warmth, proper clothing, or enough food.

This fundraiser’s sole purpose is to collect donations to help them regain some dignity: to buy food, clothing, and most importantly, to provide them with a safe home before winter arrives. There is no personal benefit from this campaign—every euro will go directly to improving their lives and restoring their hope.

I invite you, from the bottom of my heart, to join this chain of solidarity. Even the smallest gesture can make a world of difference for Houssem, his brothers, and their mother.

To ensure that your generosity reaches Houssem and his family safely and directly, all funds collected through this campaign will be transferred directly to the bank account of Ahmad Nassar, who is Hiba Nassar’s brother. Ahmad will then personally deliver the donations in cash to Hiba Nassar, ensuring that she and her children receive the support they need as quickly as possible.
