It is with great sadness that I find myself setting up this Go Fund Me account for one of my Monster families. We experienced a tremendous loss last weekend when our solider Louie Zapata quickly passed away from an extremely aggressive case of meningitis. Everything the doctors tried unfortunately could not help with the swelling on his brain and Louie lost his short fight to this powerful disease. Not only has his passing brought a huge emotional loss to Gaby and her family, it also brings a huge financial loss as well. Louie had an extreme passion for the game and loved nothing more than to watch Gaby on the mound, he worked hard to get her to where she is today. We ask those willing to donate any amount of funds to help ensure that the path Louie paved for Gaby can continue and she’s able to stay playing travel softball and following her love for the game. Many of you in the softball community know things can quickly add up and get very expensive. Louie definitely left his passion for the game installed in Gaby, and I don’t know a more determined, hardworking young lady than herself. Gaby is a great student athlete and is currently on the Principles honor roll at school. Please help Gaby continue the dream that her and Louie both were working so hard to reach.
