Hi, my name is Jaid, and I’m the sole owner of BMB Recovery (Body Mind Beauty).
After experiencing multiple injuries myself, I went through the medical system and was repeatedly offered only medication, surgery, or injections to manage my pain. Along with the physical pain came depression and a loss of confidence. I knew there had to be another way.
That’s when I discovered alternative, non-invasive recovery therapies with no side effects. These methods helped relieve my pain, improve my mental health, and gave me my confidence and quality of life back. I finally felt what it was like to live pain-free again.
Because of this transformation, I decided to go all in and create BMB Recovery—a space dedicated to helping others who feel stuck, broken, or unheard, just like I once did. My goal has always been to give people their lives back: so they can play with their kids and grandkids, return to the sports they love, and live without constant pain.
In just my first year of business, we’ve already helped many people—but unfortunately, I’ve now hit a very difficult setback.
Technology hasn’t been kind. As you’ll see in the photo, a $200,000 cryotherapy machine had to be taken away due to ongoing faults (including issues cooling properly with the door open). This left me with a $13,000 electricity bill, which I’ve managed to reduce to $8,000 by shutting the machine down and ultimately removing it.
While I’ve received refunds on some machines, they are still on hold, and during this waiting period I’m struggling to keep clients, pay staff, and cover basic business costs.
To keep this dream alive, I’m currently:
Working a full-time job
Living back with my parents
Putting everything I have into keeping BMB Recovery open
This business means everything to me—not just financially, but emotionally. It represents hope, healing, and a better way forward for people who feel like they’ve run out of options.
Any donation, big or small, would mean the world to me and help me get through this incredibly challenging time.
I also believe strongly in giving back. Once the remaining machines arrive (expected in March), I plan to host an open day where everyone is invited to come try the machines, enjoy food, and take part in giveaways. I would love for you to visit and see the business you helped save.
Thank you so much for taking the time to read my story and for any support you can offer.
