Helping us through this season

The beautiful journey of life is not without its challenges. Especially as the main character in the story. My name is Ericka. I live in city central Phoenix about a mile and a half from where I was born. I like the desert, the mountains, and the urban sprawl but most of all I love the kids of this city. Maybe it's because I was a kid here in a challenging environment. I have worked all my life to create community that is safe and welcoming for kids. Babies and their mama's, sometimes who were kids themselves, Sunday school classes, youth groups, elementary schools, tutoring, stay in school programs, mentoring and fostering, I have had the opportunity to work with so many kids. I now have my own kids. Two girls and two boys. And as life would have it I need support in the same way I have provided a safe and welcoming space for so many. I am currently undergoing treatment for breast cancer. I am needing to take 12 full weeks off of work during the chemotherapy. This means I will be without pay. I need your help to Keep the Lights ON at home. If you contribute to us we will use the money for our mortgage, utilities and food.
