Keeper of the dogs, no one wanted
Donation protected

Update... please HELP US reach our goal. All donations are strictly for food. A heartfelt thanks. Not every day, or every week do the dogs get fed as much as they should, Hassan makes his own meager contributions but needs help, from us. People who understand and believe a few bucks won't kill us, if it helps someone whose trying so hard to keep these unwanted dogs fed, daily. It adds up, there's no other option for a cheaper dry food, it is what it is, and he's already rationing it out, and supplementing it with porridge and when lucky, eggs. It's overwhelming and sometimes bleak, but he continues to be solely responsible and when there's not a shortage of food, which isn't often, he focuses on one dog at a time for immunizations. He has a way to go... so that's the update. He's dwn to his last 2 bags of dry dog food....with 10 mouths to feed.
Ea bag is roughly $25 bucks. It's nice to share the $$ info, so you know how $$ it's applied or where its going and for what. Ty and God bless. Below is my original story...this was just an update, as of 3/2/24.
Hi my name is Mellissa and I'm fundraising fdeforming.
Hassan is such a sweet person with a heart of gold.
I've met him seen his rescue shelter and see first hand his mission, his struggle and accomplishments. Through donations and his own contributions he's able to feed these ten dogs, He uses 100% of the donations for their medical, like immunizations, and spaying, deworming.
He constructed the shelter from ground up...and is doing the best he can to care for these abandoned dogs, alot of them, whom were literally starving when he found them. One dog he rescued, was once so weak from starvation, he had to carry him home for treatment. Now he is healthy and happy.
Hassan has such a beautiful soul, and is so grateful for any contributions that will help him continue to feed and care for these grateful souls.
The dogs are so happy and it's written on their faces!! It's very heart warming! Imagine being emaciated and too weak to run or even stand and protect yourself and imagine a stranger comes along and wisks you off to who knows where...imagine the fear and confusion...if your a dog owner, you know what I mean.....only to find out, it was really an angel...offering you a life-saving opportunity. An opportunity to live.
All these dogs...once living in the streets, with no food or clean water or a safe place to rest, these animals now feel safe and have food in their bellies daily. Hassan provides love, nourishment and the attention every pet deserves... even the smallest donation helps.
Hassan doesn't make a lot of money, he uses his own income to support the rescue. (compared to wages we are used to making, his income is shockingly low)
But through the kindness of others, he still has hope and continues to care and provide. Can you spare even $5, that's all I ask...every $5 dollars received will add up eventually...and if we hit our goal, it will provide enough kibble to last till spring.
That would be amazing.
And that would surely bring tears of Joy to Hassan...he's always just so grateful...I wish I knew more people like him, who truly appreciate even the smallest acts of kindness. No expectations. Just faith and hope and gratitude.
He always says,
Thank you my dear.
Or
Ty Sister...
It's they're way of addressing thanks and to show respect.
So in closing if you can help me to help Hassan and his 10 dogs, you will be sure to know the donation is going 100% for their food or medical. Thank you for reading.
