Dear Friends, community, and supporters:
West Leonard Christian Reformed Church has been serving the community for over 100 years. We are reaching out in a time of need. Our boiler has reached the end of its life and needs to be replaced. The costs to replace the boiler will be over 200,000 dollars. Just recently, we've had to shut it down entirely. With your help, we can replace our boiler before the next winter sets in, ensuring our doors stay open to all.
Why This Matters
In addition of being a place of worship for over a hundred years, we play a crucial part in the community.
- We run the Diaper Depot Drive which provides diapers and supplies to families in the community.
- We organize a fall and spring neighborhood workday event where we help our community neighbors with yard clean-up, minor home repairs, or home maintenance needs.
- Every year in the late summer we run a back-to-school BBQ, providing a cookout and free school supplies to the neighborhood children.
- From fall to spring, we host bi-monthly dinners. This includes Bible studies and activities for boys and girls.
How You Can Help
- Give to help us meet our goal. Every contribution counts. Any type of donation, big or small, will make a difference.
- Spread the word with friends, family, and on social media. The more people we can reach, the quicker we can meet our goal.
- Pray for our church and congregation. Nothing is out of God's reach.
