Hello. My name is Kerri and I am working diligently to keep a very close friend, who is a single parent, and her children, one of which has autism, from being foreclosed on. Their house has suffered hurricanes that caused damage to the roof which, in turn, caused damage to the interior of the home to include walls, attic space, electrical, sheetrock and furniture, carpet, appliances and more. The damage has also caused mold issues which has led to her son to have severe allergies and asthma attacks. This is a very dire situation and we would love your assistance to help keep this family in their home. The family has been fighting with the insurance company for almost 3 years now and has been awarded some funding to repair damage but, unfortunately with the damages and other circumstances beyond their control, the family has fallen behind on the mortgage. We would love to raise enough funds to pay off the remainder of the mortgage (which isn't much) but need $10,000 immediately to keep from foreclosure. Please, if you can find it in your hearts to help this family who has been through many hardships the past 5 years, to include their husband/father passing away, we would truly appreciate it.
