Keep this Angel on Earth

This is Angel, she is a therapy horse that volunteers her time to help people at a Drug Addition Treatment Center in Smithville, Texas. However, right now she is the one in immediate need. We found out tonight (12/10/2020), that she has a life-threatening mass in her large intestine. It’s about the size of a basketball. If the mass is left in her, she will have to be put down within the next few weeks. It’s only a matter of time before it will kill her if it isn’t removed, she has to be humanly euthanized to avoid a very painful death. She doesn’t deserve to go like this; she deserves a beautiful healthy life. She has given her life the last few years to helping people regulate and learn healthy relationship skills. She has the kindest heart and the most beautiful soul. The surgery is going to be anywhere from $5,000-$10,000 and we won’t know the exact cost until it’s done. I put her in the care of my friend Joanna, to use and love in the therapy program because I knew Angel had so much to give others. I rode and loved Angel until my medical disabilities stopped me from being able to, and I have so enjoyed knowing how much she is loved in her new role. Both Joanna and I are unable to afford this surgery for her. It is truly heartbreaking to know she could live a long happy life after just one surgery, but to be unable to get it due to finances. I am reaching out to those that love her, those she has touched through the recovery program, and anyone willing to give any amount to help save this amazing horse and allow her to live. There is no amount too small. She works hard everyday to spread her love to those in recovery. She sees to others needs everyday. Please help her in her time of need. Please keep our Angel on Earth.
