Keep These Pups with the Man Who Loves Them

A few days ago I read a Facebook post about someone who was giving away his dogs in the TSC parking lot. So naturally, I drove straight there to hear his story.

Out of respect for his privacy, I won't be giving you too many details, but the short story is that his landlord is trying to make him get rid of his dogs. I can tell you from the time I've spent talking to him that these dogs are very important to him and he loves them very much- and they adore him.

I have no desire or intention of breaking up this little family, but I want to help. He may have found a way to keep them and for that I'm overjoyed. However- they need to be spayed and up to date on vaccinations. He's got a motorcycle for sale to raise money for the needed vet work, but time is of the essence and cash isnt abundant..

And so I'm asking on his behalf. If I created a go fund me for this man, would any of my friends be willing to help support him? My vet quoted me about $1500 for basic vaccines, exams and sterilization. I will be making phone calls to find a lower cost clinic, but for now this is our goal.

I don't feel like anyone should be separated from from their family- even if "family" is in the form of 2 dogs, just because times are tough and money is short. The dogs are well fed and well loved. Can we find a way to help this guy?
