Hi, we’re The Whirlybird Project, a nonprofit cultural space tucked into the backroads of St. Landry Parish, Louisiana—part honkytonk, part folk art shrine, part storytelling sanctuary. We host music, performance, artist residencies, and wild creative experiments grounded in Southern soul and community love.

We’re launching this fundraiser to recover from a storm we’ve come to call SneauxZilla—a brutal winter freeze that wiped out two minisplit AC/heating units, burned out two sewage pumps, and left us with costly emergency repairs just to keep the doors open, the dance floor dry, and the spirits warm.

We’ve always built this place with scrap, sweat, and story—but this hit was too big to shoulder alone. Every dollar helps us patch what’s broken and keep the magic alive for the next show, the next story, the next strange, sacred night under the tin roof.
