My buddy, partner, brother John Simons is in a very bad place. You may have seen my earlier GoFundMe about his freak accident that left him unable to walk. Through the grace of God and the people that know and love John, my first fundraiser hit my goal.

Little did I know, the duration of his inability to walk/work has extended beyond what we did to help keep the Simons family in their home. John has had surgery for a completely torn ACL and both meniscus were partially torn. The surgery went well, and John can walk!! Unfortunately, he cannot work. He saw his surgeon for a post-op follow-up and was told he cannot work for at least six more weeks! He still has pain when he walks too much, and the doctor explained he needs to stay off it more and let everything heal.

My dear, dear friend is facing financial ruin and is at a loss since disability is such a slow process. He has no income. Kim is working hard but cannot bear the bills on her own. With 5 kids, a home, a car, insurance, utilities, food, etc., they will not be able to keep things afloat for another 6 weeks. In fact, the mortgage will not get paid without our help! Please consider helping us help John and Kim keep their family home.
