When the Rambling House closed our doors on March 15th to help keep our staff and community as safe as possible during the pandemic, we jumped headlong into live-streaming with a vision to bring live music to all of your homes, and a commitment to getting musicians and our staff paid at a time when work has been scarce for the live music and service industries.
Little did we know then that we'd still be at it 9 months later having streamed dozens of shows and raised thousands and thousands of dollars for working musicians and our staff. As a community, we are humbled and grateful for all of your support. We literally couldn't have done this without you, and it has meant more to our staff and Columbus musicians than you'll ever know. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you all!
And somewhere along the way, our crew learned how to infuse that Rambling House magic into our live-streams, and we don't ever want to stop. After working at it tirelessly for months, we've also come to the tough conclusion that we're not going to be able to sell enough tickets to keep the live-streams financially viable in 2021.
So we have a new vision. We'd like to keep the live-streams going strong through the Winter and share them with you all for free! To do that, we'll need your support. Our goal is to raise $3,900, which will fully cover the costs of doing 2 shows a month from January through March. If your circumstances allow, we'd be so thankful for your support!
