A Mother-Daughter Crystal Sanctuary Needs Your Help

It all began over 20 years ago, when my Mom and I worked together to reopen East West Books - the landmark New-Age store on 5th Avenue in NYC. That project was the start of our crystal journey together. It was so important to my Mom to provide this healing space in the wake of 9/11 to help a grieving New York City heal. In addition to updating and expanding this store, we added a yoga studio, art gallery, and vegan cafe to this vibrant spiritual hub. Everyone loved the space, and especially the crystals! We noticed a shift in people’s energy just holding these beautiful stones.

We eventually moved back to California where, in 2010, my Mom, Stepdad and I founded Bliss Crystals - a dedicated crystal shop with gemstones, jewelry and healing tools. We grew it together, and our current Temecula showroom opened in 2023. From a top-ranked Etsy shop to our beautiful Temecula sanctuary, we have dedicated our lives to providing ethically sourced crystals and a safe space for spiritual connection. Even as she battled breast cancer, my Mom’s warrior spirit fought on to keep Bliss Crystals going, despite the setbacks of the pandemic. My mother believed these stones could guide people through their darkest hours—a mission I am now honored to carry forward as President.

However, back-to-back tragedies have pushed our family business to a breaking point. In March 2025, I lost my mother and mentor, Mama Jan, and less than a year later, my stepfather (her beloved husband of 39 years) and our CFO, passed away as well. Losing both founders while managing the debt from opening our new Temecula showroom has created a financial storm we simply cannot weather alone.

We have the inventory, the dedicated staff, and a clear vision, but we need immediate community support to bridge this gap. My mom spent her life helping others find peace; now, I am praying the community we served will show up for us in that same spirit.
