As most of you know, I had been a caregiver for my disabled mom for the last 5 years, while also battling my own health conditions (POTS, Sjogren’s, MCAS, and depression). After my mom passed on July 29th, I have been scrambling to get a job. I got one secured, but needed to study and take state exams before I can start. I finally have my exams scheduled for the 11th and 14th (November) but bills don’t stop piling up. I am behind on the mortgage for our home, which I will likely have to sell after probate is over (even with a will, probate is needed). I am extremely embarrassed to have to ask for help again, but right now I am days away from my electric being shut off, heat wont be far behind. The job I will be starting is work from home, so my electric bill and internet are essential. I have applied for PIPP back in August but unfortunately they told me they are behind on applications and don’t know when it will be reviewed. I am scrambling, depressed, and just in need of a bit of help until I can get on my feet with my new job. Any amount is appreciated; I know times are tough for us all and the prices of everything are through the roof, so I also understand if you cannot donate. ❤️
