Our blogs are the last holdout for the LGB model train hobbyist to read about his beloved old, original LGB trains. Klaus is one of the very last living 'dinosaurs' who has worked with and for the original LGB to tell fascinating , beloved stories of times gone by and keep - literally- some collectors alive by sharing his experiences with the gone-by LGB world through our blogs.
We have about 80.000 blog readings. Our blogs are: https://traincraftbyklaus.blogspot.com
About half of our readers are more than 70 years old. To accommodate our senior readers we defy to take on advertising. Please help to keep it this way. Advertising on blogs makes reading for senior eyes extremely irritating, confusing and removes their focus to the point where the older eye cannot get back to the previous content. Therefore we opt out of ads. The blogs are a great pleasure to our readers and their comments are a constant reminder to us how much they enjoy the blogs.
George W from TN told us how his grandson was coming up to his lake house every 2nd weekend to read his grandpa the blogs then they'd go out to their LGB train layout and had the best time running the trains together.
Instead of going through subscriptions we feel our readers and the participating LGB Model Train community are better served by donating according to their abilities and wishes.
Our blogs inspire the LGB hobbyist to support LGB train layouts at churches, hospitals, botanical gardens and Christmas exhibitions.
Our expenses are the result of opportunity costs. It's either the blog or other activities. To keep the blogs running we'd like to raise US$ 5,000.00 for the next 3 months.
We will show our appreciation to bigger donations with LGB related gifts and will gladly display your name on our blogs if the donor wishes so.
Please keep the TrainCraft blogs alive with your however small donation. Thank You and God Bless!
