I am raising funds for BROADWAY IN THE HOOD to help secure The Legacy Theatre of Excellence as a permanent home for artists in Las Vegas. As Nevada’s first African American-owned and operated theatre and education complex, this space is more than a building. It is a sanctuary where young people discover their voices, where families find community, and where a rich cultural history is honored and celebrated every day.

Our mission is bold: to pay off The Legacy and ensure we can continue offering FREE arts education, live theatre, mentorship, workforce development, and professional training in acting, music, dance, and technical theatre. When I walk through the doors of The Legacy, I see students rehearsing in the dance studio, young voices recorded in the podcast and recording studios, and visitors moved by the stories in the African American Entertainment Museum. This is what your support protects.

Keeping this facility fully owned and debt-free means we can expand programs, reach more underserved youth, and sustain a space where creativity becomes opportunity.
