Paul and Jenny Lee have had a difficult start to 2021.  It started with a planned back surgery for Jenny.  After the surgery, the family contracted COVID 19 which eventually placed Paul in the ICU of Panorama Mediclinic Hospital on January 13th where he fought for his life with COVID related low oxygen levels from pneumonia for 7 days.  He is still currently hospitalized.

Paul is a freelancer, so while ill he will be unable to generate income.  He is the main income provider for the family and Jenny is still recovering from her recent back surgery.  They are a blended family with eight children who they support to varying degrees as well as helping with elder care fees for Jenny's father.  Jenny's mother also works for them as a freelance writer so her income is currently affected as well. 

In addition to the usual bills and now hospital and doctor fees for both of them, they have a previously planned move to a new house in the middle of February that cannot be changed.
