If you’ve ever walked through the doors of the Kuhn Theater than you know they’re all about family. The Lebanon community has been enjoying The Kuhn Theater for 15 years. The hard work of the owners Rich and Darla Pitts. Over the last 15 years The Kuhn has overcome many obstacles from the recession of 2009 to upgrading to digital projection from film, where the community came to together and helped keep The Kuhn Open. The Kuhn has been Lebanon’s only entertainment venue for many years. We’ve all been affected by COVID-19. Some are faring better than others. But as a community we come together to help our neighbors. Rich and Darla have always been generous in donating to local and community programs. From Lebanon High School, the Boys and Girls club to other local businesses. 2020 has been a hard year for the Kuhn financially. Not being able to offer to go services they’ve had to close due to The Governor’s orders or risk being fined. It’s extremely hard to keep a family run business running when you’re forced to close your doors to the public or limit the capacity as they’ve been forced to do. Despite being closed there are still operating costs to be considered, such as rent, utilities, all of the same bills that were due when they were fully operational. I am hoping as a community we can come together and keep this Business going. It would be a great loss to our community when COVID-19 is all but a memory and we no longer have the Kuhn Theater. So please if you are able to donate or if not even sharing this helps. Thank You for your time, Our community has been truly blessed by the Kuhn Theater and your donation would greatly bless The Kuhn Theater.
