I'm Nancy Clark, President of Napanee Community Kitten Rescue.

I am raising funds to replace the main transport vehicle for the rescue.

Sadly, after Trojan service, and over 300,000 kilometers, my car has died permanently, and the Rescue is grounded. Literally.

My car, (which is the main transport for the rescue, and not used for personal anything, except home at end of day) has had multiple issues lately (4 tows-4 major repairs), and has finally given up and died permanently. I am currently driving a rental, which I cannot afford to keep any longer.

(I'm on a pension, and everything I had went towards the car, as the rescue is dependent on it).

No car means no food or medication deliveries or pickups. No vet appointments. No emergency vet visits. No transport to spay and neuter. No trapping. No fundraising events. No adoption events. No emergencies will be able to be helped. No nothing.

Sad as it is, we need to ask for your help, to pay for the rental car for a bit longer, so operating can continue while we figure out a permanent solution...and we hope this GoFundMe will help raise the funds for a new vehicle, used or otherwise. We think we can get something decent and reliable and warrantied for about 10,000.00

We have to beg for help more often than we would like...but sometimes it's just a necessary option. There is never enough money for medical care, much less anything else.
