Update;

Check out the new NEON sign! It will be up and turned on for the first time this Saturday, from 4.30 til 6 as a compliment to the Christmas Parade. Come on down and share this please....

This Go Fund Me will stay open a bit longer - at least until we get a great new pic of the place with the new neon lit. Long live neon!

Backstory;

As you all know by now, DQ has pulled the franchise from Mark. Many of us in Carbondale are not wanting to lose Mark's DQ business on the strip. It's part of our tradition, our legacy, it gets to the soul of Carbondale itself.

Well, good news! Mark is continuing the tradition, with something similar yet better. But meanwhile, while he regroups, there are employees to be paid, decor to be made and neon artists to be engaged. That's where we come in. Time to pony up and show some support!

Please note that Mark was part of setting this up and that all the money goes directly into his bank account after the Go Fund Me operation takes out roughly 3% in fees.

Please also note that another Go Fund Me was set up by Brenda King (Save Our Ice Cream Place) that Mark knows about and is legitimate as well. Brenda has combined her Go Fund Me into this one.
