A local family of five fled danger and extreme poverty in their country of origin to establish a safer life here in the US. They have lived here in the area for a number of years, seeking asylum through the complex US immigration process. Currently some family members are being threatened with deportation, and they are working with legal assistance to prevent this family with young children from being split up. Children deserve to be with their parents; parents deserve the right to care for their children. People deserve to live in safety, work to meet their needs, and attend school. Please donate to help keep this family together and prevent further trauma by separating them. Seeking asylum is a human right.

Currently the family needs financial support to continue their asylum case. Monies will be distributed by the Albion Immigration Task Force directly for legal fees and other emergency needs the family may encounter, especially if a family member is detained. Please help keep this family together!
