I have lived in many places over the course of my life. Some were intentional and others forced by incarceration. I have been working very hard to create a rewarding and peaceful existence, and I have not been very successful until recently.

I invested the last of my money into a bus conversion from 1962. It was the most beautiful vision I have ever beheld. I saw at once what my life could look like with the freedom and warmth I enjoy on the road. I had no experience with diesel engines, and many of my closest family members believed the bus to be a waste of time, but I was committed. After many days of reading and tinkering, I had the bus operational again; however, there was still an issue with the fuel injection. I was attempting to move it somewhere safe with a flat area where diesels were allowed to park, and in transit, my bus ran out of diesel. I had filled it with $50 worth of fuel and only driven a mile, so I didn't immediately realize the issue, and I drained the batteries attempting to start it. I immediately grabbed a road cone and reflector vest because I had not made it off the road, and the air brakes engaged. The first vehicle I saw drove up, and I mentioned to him my dilemma and asked if he had a road reflector to be safe, and he said he called the police on me. I needed only a short time to move my bus, but the sheriff came and took possession of my home and belongings.

I am reaching out humbly to ask the community for assistance in returning to my dream and keeping me on a good and righteous path. This almost brought me out of my new good habits and returned me to chaos and recidivism. I am about to complete my community supervision and be free of my probation for the first time in 20 years.

Please, if you have ever unjustly lost everything, help me. This is hard for me to ask, but I see no other way to achieve this.
