The iconic Blue Crew Fire Truck, a staple of Indianapolis Colts tailgates and a proud supporter of local charities and community events, is in urgent need of repairs. For years, this vintage fire truck has been more than just a party on wheels — it’s been a symbol of team spirit, community pride, and good times shared among friends and fans.

Whether it’s blasting music at Lucas Oil Stadium, delivering smiles at local parades, or showing up in support of charitable causes around Indy, the Blue Crew Fire Truck has always answered the call.

But now, it’s our turn to answer the call — the truck needs some serious TLC to stay road-ready and represent the Colts with pride. Repairs aren't cheap, and we’re reaching out to our fellow fans, neighbors, and tailgate legends to help bring this beast back to life.

Funds raised will go directly toward mechanical repairs and engine work.

Palmer Trucks’ Kenworth of Indianapolis East service department has quoted the repair of the Blue Crew fire truck at $10,000, which includes a reduced labor rate. Palmer Trucks supports the community and charity work of the Blue Crew and will help however is feasible to get the truck back on the road.

As a 60-year, family-owned business that has long been engaged in the Indianapolis community, Palmer Trucks will explore other possible avenues of support as well.
