Keep The Baddie Works Alive
Donation protected
Every business experiences a bump in the road. Julia hit a pothole.
Last week Julia (the owner and founder of The Baddie Works) was riding her electric scooter after work when she hit a pothole at 15 miles per hour.
She broke her landing with her right wrist, dislocating it and fully snapping her forearm in half.
If you don't know already, The Baddie Works specializes in sugaring hair-removal. Sugaring is an extremely physical profession- requiring full mobility and strength in the wrist and forearm. By injuring her dominant arm, her main source of income has been completely taken away from her.
Julia is going through an intensive surgery on Tuesday 8/22 and will not be able to return to sugaring clients for 2-3 months. This will greatly impact the ability to fund her business.
Julia sees her clientele as family and supports them in and outside of her salon. If she has ever been someone who has listened to you during your appointments, sent you flowers when you've had success, or has had any positive effect in your life, please show her your support by donating and keeping her baby alive.
All we're asking for is enough to cover the baseline expenses until Julia is able to return.
These expenses include:
- Rent
- Staff paychecks
- Electric
- Water
- Supplies (sugar, gloves, sanitary implements, and our custom products)
If The Baddie Works closes, not only would Julia be unemployed, but so would her wonderful team who rely on her for their income.
This business is what gets Julia out of bed every day. If you're lucky enough to know Julia personally, you know that she puts The Baddie Work over everything.
She is never not working. She is thoughtful, meticulous, committed, passionate, and she is a BOSS. The inability to be present every day, listen to her clients' stories, laugh with you all and make you feel beautiful and confident is heartbreaking for her.
Please donate whatever you can to help support my best friend, my family, my rock.
