Hello - I'm a New York artist with car trouble. My faithful PriusV blew a head gasket and is in need of engine repairs. I love this car - it has taken me to many wonderful places and great adventures over the years. Sadly, I cannot cover the 10k estimate that was quoted by the Toyota dealership. That would be for a whole-engine replacement. I am satisfied to fix the head gaskets without replacing the entire engine if I can find someone to do it. Funds raised will go towards engine repair/replacement or towards a used car. Mainly, I just need a working car so that I can continue to go to travel to conventions where I sell my artwork. This car has been all over the Eastern half of the United States. I'd love to continue to drive her - she's a been a great car. Even my cats like her. They jump in every time I pack for a show, just to make sure I haven't forgotten anything.

Thankyou for your help.
