Hello everyone,
My name is Taria Blazhevych, and I came to Washington, D.C. with my two sons through the United for Ukraine program in 2023. We’ve been rebuilding our lives here — the boys are doing great in school, and I’ve been studying and preparing to return to work in IT and cybersecurity once my documents are renewed.
I applied for re-parole back in January, but the process has been postponed many times. The government’s system keeps restarting my application timer instead of moving it forward. Until it’s finally approved, I still don’t have a valid work authorization — which means I can’t legally work, even though I’m ready and eager to.
Right now, every dollar raised will go toward rent, transportation, and daily essentials to keep me and my boys safe and stable while we wait. I’m doing everything possible to follow the law, stay positive, and keep moving forward despite all these delays.
Your help — no matter how small — means the world to us. Thank you for your kindness and support during this uncertain time.
With love and gratitude,
Taria, Artem & Denys
