I am setting up this GoFundMe, praying to raise funds for much needed repairs for my car, my source of income.

I'll tell you my story real quick.

For over two years, I have been looking unsuccessfully for employment in Los Angeles and in another state. Even though I’m in good physical and mental health and my skills have improved with time-seasoning, I have found that being over 70 years old might be seen as a handicap to being selected for a job.

A year ago when I used my savings, I started being a driver, putting my beautiful car to work. I have been so grateful. It has helped me to take care of my expenses and my basic needs. It was like a ray of hope and I love doing it. Yeah!

Last month my car broke down. I had a major safety issue fixed which I paid for with my last dollars. Then I learned the following week that the suspension, compressor, and car computer need to be fixed. This should be repaired to drive passengers.

I am reaching out for assistance. The money will help pay for the car repairs and help me out in the days when I will not be able to work or rent a car to work, while the car is fixed.

I want to be able to 'stay in the game', taking care of my needs and to continue contributing with service as I can, and living an active, safe, joyful life.
