Safety Drive is a registered Australian charity with the ACNC, endorsed as a Deductible Gift Recipient (DGR). Since 2020, we have been on the frontline of harm prevention — focused on one of Australia’s most urgent and under-served crises: male suicide.

3 in 4 suicides in Australia are men.

Yet up to 4 in 5 people who access suicide prevention services are female.

Men are dying in silence. We exist to change that.

What We Do

We deliver practical, male-friendly programs that build emotional intelligence, connection, resilience and hope:

Emotional Intelligence (EI) workshops and men’s groups that create safe spaces for men to open up, process challenges, and build real skills for wellbeing.

Youth crime prevention and at-risk youth programs that steer young people toward purpose and away from harm through mentoring, experiential learning and community.

Support for single dads and families facing isolation, relationship breakdown and the pressures that so often lead to crisis.

Resilience training events using practical, high-energy experiences (including motorsport-inspired activities) to teach emotional regulation and harm-prevention skills in ways that actually engage men and young people.

Community events, open days and peer support that reduce stigma and strengthen connection.

Participants have told us our one-on-one sessions, group workshops and events have been “game-changers” in recovering from emotional abuse, self-harm, substance struggles and isolation. Fathers have shared how the programs positively impact their sons. These are real lives being steered toward safer, stronger futures.

We fund this work primarily through transparent charity fundraising (including art unions and events), with proceeds directed to programs that strengthen men’s wellbeing, connection and resilience across Australia.

Why We Need You Now

Safety Drive is facing permanent closure. Without urgent support, the programs that reach men who would otherwise never seek help — and the young people and families connected to them — could disappear.
