Hello, my name is Stan Pitluck, and I’m 87 years old.

For the past 15 years, I’ve proudly served as the Facilities Manager at the Unitarian Universalist Church of Studio City, a spiritual home I’ve been a part of for over five decades. In addition to my staff role, I also served on the Board of Trustees, dedicating my time and energy to a community I love deeply.

Recently, due to cost-saving measures, my paid position at the Church was eliminated. This unexpected loss of income has placed me in a very difficult position. While I live simply and independently, I now face the painful reality that without this job, I can no longer afford to stay in my apartment and maintain the modest lifestyle I’ve worked hard to preserve.

This GoFundMe campaign is my heartfelt request for help during this challenging time. My goal is to raise enough to cover basic living expenses and housing for the foreseeable future.
