Keep Immigrant Families Together

We are a group of community members who work closely with adolescent immigrants experiencing firsthand the effects of our current administration’s immigration policies and active deportations. Many of the immigrants we work with have been given the choice to either self-deport by a set date, or face detention and separation from their family members. We are organizing to provide support for our families so that they can afford to choose the safer option of self-deportation.

Your donation has the potential to keep immigrant families together as they navigate this latest upheaval to their lives. Some are considering dropping out of school in order to work and earn the money they'll need for a plane ticket. Your donation will relieve some of the intense stress our community's immigrant families are experiencing.

It is already too late for some families to benefit from our assistance, but there are many more who need help to leave the U.S. together. If you would be willing to contribute any amount, we would be so grateful. Many families will be self-deporting to Central and South America, where a plane ticket will cost each member of their family between $300 and $600. One plane ticket is a good step toward helping a family, but any amount is appreciated. These families have given us so much and are deeply valued community members. Thank you for your support!
