Help Save Our Beloved School
Our beloved Catholic school is at a critical juncture, and we need your help to keep its doors open. This school is more than just a place of learning; it's a community where generations of families have come together.
Many of our current staff members were once students here, and now their children walk the same halls. The warmth and history within these walls are palpable, creating a nurturing environment where students thrive.
Since its founding in 1958, St. Alphonsus Liguori School has been a cornerstone of our community, originally staffed by the Sisters of Christian Charity and later enriched by the School Sisters of Notre Dame. Today, our dedicated lay teachers continue this tradition of excellence in Catholic education. A testament to our commitment, St. Alphonsus Liguori School was honored as a No Child Left Behind National Blue Ribbon School of Excellence in 2004 by the United States Education Department. Our mission is to guide each child's growth in faith, knowledge, spirit, and responsibility, building achievements today that lead to happy, successful futures.
Unfortunately, we are facing significant financial challenges, including existing school debts and a growing need for financial aid among our families. The funds raised through this campaign will be crucial in addressing these challenges, ensuring that our children can continue to learn and grow in a place they love. The thought of having to leave this community and start anew is heartbreaking for our students, parents, and staff alike.
Our school is a place where older students mentor the younger ones, fostering a sense of responsibility and care that is truly special. The bonds formed here are strong, and the impact of closing our doors would be devastating. We are reaching out to you, our extended community, to help us preserve this cherished institution. Your support will make a difference in the lives of our students and ensure that this school remains a beacon of hope and love for generations to come.
If the school does in fact not remain open, all funds will be returned.
