Keep smiles on Eric's kids faces in the face of tragedy

Hi, I am Eric Allen. I come to you, the internet, with a common American issue. My medical bills are piling up faster than I can pay them. My wife, Vicky, is a lovely soul and is currently dying slowly from an unexpected massive stroke in the dead of night. No warning, no sound, and no remedy. The CTs and MRIs showed that my wife will never recover, and we are just doing our best to keep her comfortable as the end comes.

Despite my savings, this is going to be a huge strain on my finances, but more than that, a strain on the lives of her surviving kids. I'm raising this so hopefully I don't have to change much about their lives so they miss just their mom, not trips to the movies or going out for ice cream. Any amount or quantity would be greatly appreciated so I can keep them distracted during this terrible time as we slowly say goodbye to their mom.
