We are fundraising to pay for attorney support to evaluate our ability to challenge the City of Overland Park’s 1/20/22 decision that AHH’s Group Home may move forward with opening in the Shannon Valley subdivision without an approval process by the City. There are multiple points of concern (safety, operating a business in the neighborhood, violation of requirements in Zoning ordinances and the HOA Declarations and Restrictions) by our residents that were not considered in a formal public process. The attorney is onboarding and working to get up to speed on the case. Depending on the outcomes of this initial phase additional funds may be needed. Please consider donations non-fundable.
