Keep Serenity Space running

Hi, my name is Gill and I’m a member of Serenity Space in Wandsworth. Some of you will know that Carolyn, the owner of the business, has been hit by an unaffordable electricity bill that is jeopardising the future of the business. She has no option but to look for external support from members of the Serenity Space community to appeal for some crowd funded help.

Having been placed on an unaffordable emergency tariff following the energy company’s administrative errors, Serenity Space electricity supply has been cut off entirely leaving treatment rooms unusable, classes in darkness (thank goodness for candles and British Summer Time). But it is an untenable situation. Because the energy company’s is not one of the larger and more lenient (and frankly better run) organisations, there has been no agreement to any kind of solution by way of a repayment plan. Needless to say Ofgem and Citizens Advice are involved to try to resolve things. But it will not be quick enough to save this much loved local business.

Can you help Carolyn to raise a portion of what is being demanded by the energy company to get the lights back on, teachers and therapists back in work and studios back in light and heat?
